New team at the helm of Park House           November 2018

Meet Victoria Howard and Andy Stiles. The couple moved into beautiful Park House at the end of November 2018 after deciding their family needed a new challenge, and they have not looked back since.

Victoria, a former director of Lewis and Cooper in Northallerton, says: “Park House is such a stunning setting – it’s not like being at work. Every day I wake up and look at the view and know we made the right decision.”

The couple are new to running a bed and breakfast, but Victoria’s three decades with Lewis and Cooper mean she understands the importance of customer service, and a high-quality experience for guests.

“We want our guests to feel like this is a home from home,” she says. “Whether they are on the Coast to Coast or Cleveland Way, here for one of our special events or just having a relaxing break, we want it to be special, memorable and homely for them.”

As well as Park House’s traditional function as a walkers’ bed and breakfast, Victoria and Andy are planning a range of new events so even more people can enjoy the fabulous countryside it is set in.

Both have a love of exercise and the great outdoors, so they are hosting social running events, followed by tasty pizzas from Park House’s own pizza oven, as well as yoga and walking weekends – the first of these sold out in days.

“The countryside around Park House, from Osmotherley, to Swainby and Ingleby, then up on the moors and the Cleveland Hills, is so special, we want as many people to come to us and share it as possible,” says Victoria.
