A favourite on my recent C2C walk. A very comfortable friendly and welcoming accommodation. Pre-dinner nibbles and drinks were a classic touch sat outside on a great patio overlooking wonderful countryside. Fabulous food, dinner and breakfast. Totally recommended.

Lovely spot and cosy feel
We really enjoyed our stay here. Brett and Alix went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The evening home cooked meal was a very welcome and tasty change from pub food and nice to enjoy around a shared table with other guests. Likewise with the hot breakfast. Also, soaked boots were perfectly dry in the morning and we made full use of the laundry service. Located 20 min walk outside Ingleby but further along the C2C so allows you to get a head start in the morning.

STUNNING LOCATION & AMAZING FOOD
Stayed here for one night on way back home after a trip further north. My goodness what a find. Can't fault a single thing. We stayed in St Bees room with a fabulous view overlooking beautiful countryside. Room was large and immaculate. We booked a meal in the evening which was absolutely delicious cooked by the hosts. Particularly liked the idea of drinks and nibbles before in the sitting room followed by dinner with all guests sitting around one table which was really nice getting to know and hear other people's travels. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and I wish them every success in their new venture. Thankyou for a lovely stay. ❤️

Wonderful family style meal
Outstanding stop on the C2C walk. Alix and Brett are great hosts. Essential to book dinner. Wonderful family style meal prepared by Chef Brett. Pre-meal drinks and nibbles with Bartender Alix in a comfortable lounge. Best night of the walk? Yup.
Proper little oasis
We stayed with Alex and Brett for one night on our Coast to Coast walk and it was just utterly lovely. What amazing hospitality from a great couple, from the warm welcome to the delicious dinner (and breakfast the next morning) not to mention peace and quiet in the most wonderful surroundings. We arrived tired and a bit emotional after a long, hot day and left revived and ready to walk on towards the East coast. Park House is a proper little oasis and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone in the area.
